This beautiful land is located at the top of Miller Cove subdivision. It’s an end-of-the-road location, and 4-wheel-drive is strongly recommended, especially for the last 2000 feet of road. There are also 2 creek crossings on Miller Cove Road. Duke Energy power lines end at 115 Miller Cove Road. Beyond this home, there are 2 more “off the grid” cabins, and then you arrive at the lot. It’s possible that power could be run to the property, but this would be subject to easements being granted by several other lot owners. For this reason, we are marketing this property as an “off the grid” or solar-powered homesite.
The land begins at the end of Miller Cove Road at an elevation of approximately 3350 feet. There is a saddle about 300 feet down from the road that would offer the best building site. The views are beautiful in the winter, and after clearing of a homesite, they should be truly amazing year-round views. To the north and east of the build site is a steep ravine, with a creek at the bottom, and then another steep incline on the other side. It’s not really “usable” property, except for building hiking trails.
The property has not been evaluated for a well or septic permit. The only restriction we have been able to find is “No Junkyards.”
